Ben Adams

For as long as he can remember, Ben has been running. When he was young, his father was a running coach which meant that Ben was a fixture at all of the team’s meets. These experiences instilled a love for running and the running community at an early age. Ben continued to run through high school before taking a break to play Ultimate frisbee during college and for a few years after graduation.

After a few too many bumps and bruises in that world, he decided to return to his first love, running. Since then he has completed two marathons (with a third one planned in Boston this spring), multiple half marathons, and too many 5K and 10Ks to count.

Ben has been running the streets of Baltimore for eight years now and looks forward to sharing his love for both with his training groups. He believes that running is a great way to bring people together and can be a lifelong passion and hobby.

He is preparing to graduate from Physical Therapy school this spring, and hopes that this knowledge will help guide new runners on safe and healthy practices with their training. When he is not busy with school, Ben can be found training for his next race or spending time outdoors with his lovely wife and favorite four-legged jogging partner, Bruno.
