Join us for our annual GOTRCM 5K where the finish line is just the beginning! The course be on Columbia Gateway Drive. All girls must run with a registered running buddy or coach, and families are friends are also encouraged to register as general participants to take part in this fun, joy-filled special day.
Come early to arrive in plenty of time to meet up with your team, stop by the Happy Hair station, and enjoy the energy and excitement of a GOTR 5K.

*Girls bags will be distributed by their coaches.
COURSE
IS THIS RACE CHIP TIMED?
There is a clock at the start/finish line, but this race is not about your time, but rather about celebrating your accomplishment. Please remember that the goal of this 5k is to allow girls to enjoy their race experience and not to worry about a finishing in a certain time or place. No awards will be given for time/place finishers. At GOTR of Central Maryland, we celebrate the limitless potential of our girls and inspire them to be joyful, healthy and confident. The 5k event is the crowning moment of their participation in this life-changing program. We ask all 5k participants to honor the spirit of the event as a non-competitive celebration of the girls achieving an incredible goal. Please put their experience first. Thank you in advance for helping to make this event an incredible experience for all our amazing girls.
ARE THERE AID STATIONS AVAILABLE?
There will be one water stop along the course. Additional water and snacks will be available at the finish line. An ambulance with EMTs will be on site in case of an emergency. There will also be a first aid station near the start/finish line.
PARKING
The easiest place to park will be at 7021/7031 Columbia Gateway Dr. While this looks to be far away from our site, we have an easy walking path through the parking lot of 7000 Columbia Gateway right to our staging area. Once this lot fills, your best bet is to park across the street from our site at the Renaissance Gateway building (where Earth Treks is located). There is an outer lot to the left as you enter the office park. Follow parking attendants' directions. Do NOT park in front of Earth Treks or anywhere close to the building entrances.
