The Brooks Launch 9 and Launch 9 GTS are a great road shoe that provides runners with a responsive ride for quick transitions.
Brooks added 2 mm of BioMoGo DNA cushioning to the stack of both shoes to add a bit more bounce. Brooks cushion is so unique because it adapts to each wearer’s gait, weight, and stride to deflect impact away from the body.
Making the change from post to guiderails allows for the Brooks Launch 9 and Launch 9 GTS to accommodate and support a natural stride rather than impede it.
The outsoles of both shoes are made with silica instead of petroleum, which is a more sustainable material (yay Earth Day!).
Brooks used a new creel warp mesh for the Launch 9 and Launch 9 GTS top sole providing breathability and lightness.
Both shoes are a half ounce lighter than its previous models. This makes the Brooks Launch 9 and Launch 9 GTS great options for race day.
