Running Injury Clinic with Elite Chirporactic & Sport

Please join us for a Runners Injury Prevention Clinic hosted by Elite Chiropractic & Sport at our Columbia store. Dr. Josh Bross and Dr. Stephen Knoyer will be discussing some of the ways to avoid injuries, AND they will be giving soft tissue massages to help kick-start the process of being pain-free! After their presentation, the doctors will take 10-15 one-on-one appointments to discuss current injuries and potential treatment plans.

Meet the Professionals

Annapolis: Ergonomically Correct, LLC: David Fletcher, MPT, CEAS

David attended the University of Maryland in Baltimore where he obtained his Master's in Physical Therapy Degree in 1999. His goal is to treat the person, as well as their area of injury. “I believe in improving an individual’s quality of life and teaching the person how to minimize and prevent future injuries.” He has extensive experience working with patients of all ages, from adolescence to advanced age, with orthopedic and neurological injuries as well as chronic conditions and TMJ. He believes in a hands-on approach and exercise based therapy. When you come to see him, you get a physical therapist that will work to improve your overall health, to work with any existing program you may have, and to improve strength, range of motion, and your cardiovascular health.


Baltimore: Sally Troy of NovaCare

Sally is the center manager and treating Physical Therapist at NovaCare’s Federal Hill clinic. Sally is proficient in the treatment of a myriad of orthopaedic injuries and conditions, and specializes in sports medicine specific to runners and overhead athletes, joint replacements and balance training. As an avid runner and seven-time marathon finisher, Sally is well acquainted with the pathology of sports injuries and adept at identifying training errors and correcting form to prevent further injury. She has worked with professional athletes and club athletes, faculty and staff at St. Joseph’s University. She has also treated pediatric patients and individuals at the International Center for Limb Lengthening. Sally’s goals for her patients are defined by treating individual needs with a comprehensive program that will lead to a healthier and more pain-free life. Sally is an alumna of Simmons College, earning both her bachelor's degree in health sciences and doctorate of physical therapy.

Columbia: Chesapeake Physical & Aquatic Therapy

Chesapeake Physical and Aquatic Therapy was established in August 2002 by Doug Rosener and Jared Goldstein. Both Doug and Jared had gained incredible experience in outpatient therapy corporately, and decided they wanted to try and do things differently in their own practice. Their desire to deliver the highest quality in Physical and Aquatic Therapy has allowed them to provide the best care possible for their patients. 


Timonium: Dr. Blake Kalkstein from Adolph & Kalkstein Chiropractic

Dr. Blake completed his master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation at Logan University in May of 2013. His clinical internship with John’s Hopkins Sports Medicine orthopedic surgeons has allowed him to observe all types of injuries. Open dialogue with and careful guidance from Dr. John Wilckens, team orthopedist for the Baltimore Orioles and his internship supervisor, has led Dr. Blake to better understand advanced orthopedic and sports injuries and ways to appropriately manage each condition. According to Dr. Blake, “There’s a lot of new research directed toward sports medicine.
