Baltimore Buddy Walk has been rescheduled to November 1, 2016. Please come out to support the National Down Syndrome Society!

Adult 5K Runner: $30

Child 5K Runner: $15

Adult Walker: $20

Child Walker: $15

Virtual Run/Walker: $20

Individuals with Down Syndrome may participate free of charge.

9:00 am: 5k Run Start

9:15 am: Buddy Walk® Start

10:00 am: After Walk Activities (Music, prizes, activities, Games, bounce houses, crafts, face painting)

Once purchased, parking is 100% guaranteed even if the location otherwise fills up. Simply present your purchase confirmation at the selected location, and this serves as your payment with no additional payments or fees ever. Parking availability might be limited, so it is recommended that you purchase your parking in advance, if driving. Family-friendly festivities include moon bounce, face painting, crafts, dancing and more!


Beneficiary

The proceeds from the Buddy Walk are used to support the many programs sponsored by the Chesapeake Down Syndrome Parent Group (CDSPG). Examples of the types of programs CDSPG are ongoing can be found [here] link. In addition, a portion goes to the National Down Syndrome Society to support the national advocacy initiatives of the NDSS National Policy Center that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.


Event Guidelines

Please no roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets or headphones allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your number to another participant.
