Our good friend NyAnn Smith was a very sweet, kind, and giving person. NyAnn was an avid runner, and had a goal to run 50 races in her 50th year. She exceeded her goal and ran a total of 53 races. She was taken from us far too soon. On the second anniversary of her passing, we want to do something to honor her memory and giving spirit. We are having a race to benefit one of NyAnn's favorite charities, Anna's House. They provide transitional and permanent housing for homeless women and children in Harford County, and help them on the road to self-sufficiency. Their sponsor, Catholic Charities, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.

AMENITIES
All participants who register by Monday, 9/5/2016 will receive an event t-shirt in size ordered. An event t-shirt will be available for all who register by 9/10/16 but size not guaranteed. An event t-shirt cannot be guaranteed to those who register 9/11/16 or later. Sizes available in unisex XS, S, M, L, XL. Other sizes may be available, please inquire.
Water will be available along the course and refreshments will be available at the finish line, including the Chick-fil-A Cow with sandwiches and other giveaways.
AWARDS
There will be awards for the top 3 winners overall for men and women in the 5k Run.
All 5K finishers will receive a medal.
DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
Williams St. Entrance (turn onto Ellendale St from 924N), Bel Air, MD 2104
Parking is available past the trial entrance.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
Registration from 6:30am to 7:45am.
5K Run will start at 8am.
1 Mile Run/Walk will start at 8:15am.
RACE COURSE
The course will be challenging and fun. The course start and finish locations will be provided closer to race day. Check back for updates.
DRAWINGS
Please be sure to enter your name into the purple box at the event. The drawings will take place after the run/walk events are completed. Names will be drawn randomly and winners will receive a gift bag. Winners must be present to win.
RACE GUIDELINES
For the safety of participants, no strollers, baby joggers or pets are permitted in the 5k Run.
The race will take place in all weather conditions. Sorry, no refunds will be issued.
