The 11th Annual AFCEA Central Maryland Race for Excellence - 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on April 28, 2018 at 9AM.

USAT&F-certified this is a loop course that is relatively flat, but the inclines are certain to provide a challenge.

Amenities
T-shirts are guaranteed to registrants who register by April 6, 2018. Water on the 5K course; a light breakfast (Granola bars, light fruit, Danish, water, etc.) will be provided to registered runners immediately after the AFCEA 5K.

- Top three male and female finishers overall
- Top 3 finishers in following age groups:
- 9 and under
- 10-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70 and over
Team Awards
- Largest team award goes to the team that has the most number of 5K finishers
- Fastest team award goes to the team that has the fastest combined 5K time of its top four finishers. Both will receive trophies.
