Every 5 minutes a woman in the U.S. is diagnosed with a ‘below the belt’ gynecologic cancer. These cancers affect more than 100,000 women and cause over 30,000 deaths each year. All race proceeds help fund innovative gynecologic cancer research, and support local cancer survivors and their caregivers, our Women to Women survivorship mentoring program and September 23, 2017, survivorship conference, and our cancer nurse navigator program at The Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service in the Johns Hopkins Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Race Day - we have Packet Pick-up on race day but we suggest that you pick up earlier to avoid any lines.
Onsite starting at 7:30am

Amenities

All preregistered runners will receive a uni-sex sized t-shirt and goodie bag until supplies run out. Please let us know if you are a Gynecologic Cancer Survivor. Please let us know if you are mother-daughter participants. Participants, family, and friends are welcome to join the post-race celebration.

Course

Through Goucher College Campus

**Wheelchairs and Strollers will be allowed on the course - we just ask that you line up towards the back for safety.

Directions

If arriving by GPS, use this address: Goucher College, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, Maryland, 21204. Motorists approaching Goucher College from any direction are advised to take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), leaving it at exit 27A-Towson (Dulaney Valley Road south). The college entrance is on the left, one-half block from exit 27A.

Parking

Though ample parking is available on Goucher College campus, we recommend carpooling. Our event takes place on the Dorsey College Center Administration Offices steps (#4 on the map between the 2 wheelchair icons). Please park in the Dorsey Lot. Overflow parking is available just south of Goucher College at the North Baltimore Sheraton garage (entrance off Southerly Rd). Bring your parking ticket inside the hotel to receive validation (discounted parking $5). You can walk to the college from the hotel. The hotel can help direct you.

Race Day Activities

Make sure you visit our corporate exhibitors, sponsors, and race day supports in the race village area! Gynecologic cancer survivors, please visit our survivor tent. We have special gifts for you!

Please note: The raffle tickets will be sold for amazing gift baskets! Please bring cash or a check. 1 ticket for $5 and 5 for $20. Your race bib will have one free raffle ticket attached to use for a special drawing for a Charm City Run gift certificate. We also have purple and teal locally made pottery coffee mugs, silk scarves, and baseball hats for sale.

Truth Bath & Body will be there, and the author of "Naked Mountain" will share her book about her personal cancer journey. A percentage of proceeds go to the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service.

We have activities for children also - face painting and jewelry making with beads.

Music provided by DJ Ivan Music.

POST RACE PARTY

Join us at Bill Bateman's Bistro (7800 York Road, Towson, MD 21204, next to Towson University) directly after the race. RAGS, the Maryland based band playing blues, rock, country, and soul will be there partying with us starting at 11:00 a.m. when the doors open! Bring it to Bill Bateman's or show the flyer on your smartphone and they will donate 15% of your bill to the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service!

Event guidelines

Please no roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, or pets allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. This is not a chipped event.
