WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Joining Outrun Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk is easy. Just sign up to participate or volunteer. Here's how to get involved:
Team Captains
Being a team captain is an important role. It's up to you to recruit members, set fundraising goals, organize fundraising activities, and most of all, cheer on your team.
Participants
There are several ways you can get involved. You can join an existing team, start your own, or volunteer at the event. However you choose to become involved, we'd love to see you there.
Volunteer
Outrun Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk depends on volunteers to be successful. Share your time so that no one touched by cancer has to face a cancer diagnosis alone. As a volunteer, you may help plan the event or help with event-day activities such as check-in, water stations, information, and much more. Virtual Runners
Outrun cancer wherever you are. Run at your own pace. Run at your own time. Run your own distance. Run on a treadmill, on a trail, around the neighborhood, or around the house. Run a few minutes each day and add it all up. Run anywhere in the world! Your support will be felt by everyone participating in the Outrun Cancer 5K.
By signing up as a Virtual Runner you'll be helping us reach a world without cancer. Then you can run at your own pace, in your own place, whenever you want.
