Kick-off Homecoming on the Right Foot, Join Fellow Tigers at the Tiger Trot!
Celebrate Towson University’s Homecoming by participating in the Homecoming Tiger Trot. Join your fellow Tigers as you race or walk through Towson University’s campus. This year, choose between running the full 5K or participating in the two mile fun run. Students, alumni, parents, friends, family and community members are encouraged to participate in the events. The race routes will loop runners though campus, allowing them to see the new and exciting buildings and construction on Towson’s campus and visit the tiger statues.
All runners will receive a commemorative technical long sleeve shirt. Runners are encouraged to wear TU black and gold apparel to showcase their Tiger Pride!
ENTRY FEES
$20 – Student Runner with a Valid TU ID
$30 – Faculty, Staff, Alumni and Community Runners
$10 – Two Mile Fun Run Participants
There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
5K Start: 8 a.m.
Two Mile Fun Run Start: 8:15 a.m.
Runners must be off the route by 9:30 a.m.

Technical long-sleeve shirt to 5K entrants
(Entries after October 7th are not guaranteed shirts)
PACKET PICK-UP
Day of packet pick-up will be offered beginning at 7AM onsite on race day.
COURSE MAP
The course will loop through Towson University’s academic and athletic corridors. The race will start and finish on Tiger Lawn, across the street of the Towsontown Garage. A course map will be uploaded once it is finalized.
PARKING
Tiger Lawn is located on University Ave. Free parking is available in the Towsontown and Union Garages. For directions and a map of campus, please visit: http://www.towson.edu/main/maps/.
AWARDS
5K Medals will be award to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners in the following age/gender groups:
25 and under
25-45
45 and up
An award will also be presented to the most spirited male and female tiger.
*The family-friendly two mile fun run will not be timed. Only 5K participants are eligible for the awards and long sleeve shirts.
POST RACE
Shower facilities will be made available to all runners following the race in Burdick Hall.
EVENT GUIDELINES
Please no roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets or headphones on the race course. Service animals are permitted. Strollers and wheelchairs may be used during the race, but will have a delayed start. Your race number must be worn on the front of your shirt and must be visible.
Refunds will not be considered. This event will be held rain or shine.
