In honor of Dawn Orso, a founder and board member of the Building Traditions Society at AAMC, the 2nd Annual Dawn Orso 5K/1 Mile Family Fun Day will take place on October 16, 2016 at Camp Letts in Edgewater. Dawn chose to carry hope in her heart and embraced her breast cancer diagnosis with a courageous spirit from the very first day in 2014. Please join us in celebrating the thriving life that she lives in recovery and her mission to help others who share her diagnosis. Proceeds from the day will support breast cancer research at AAMC's Research Institute.

We encourage pre-race day packet pick up, but there will also be
packet pickup on race day.
There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.

COURSE
The course is a relatively flat, fast, combined paved and packed trail
with beautiful views of the Rhode River just south of Annapolis.
This is a nice course for participants of all abilities.
Come out andrun or walk - or just cheer on our participants!

will sign up individually using the "Team Participant" option by age range.
Please include Team Name and Captain in the spaces provided.
SURVIVOR RECOGNITION
The Dawn Orso 5K/1M Family Fun Day allows each and every participant to
honor all breast cancer survivors for their strength, courage and determination!
Participants may indicate if they are a breast cancer survivor during registration.
On race day, survivors will be easily recognized by their pink t-shirts!
We would like to have a group survivor photo taken prior to the race.
Please meet at 7:55 a.m. on race day by the starting line
and remember to wear your new t-shirt!
A Survivors award will be given to “Fastest Survivor.”
