Shop at any of our five Charm City Run locations or VITA on Saturday, October 1 to aid the efforts of Komen Race for the Cure to end breast cancer. Charm City Run will donate 10% of all sales for the day to the Race for the Cure. Race-themed merchandise will also be available to purchase in preparation for the Hunt Valley race on October 23.
About Komen Race for the Cure
The Race for the Cure began in Maryland as a 2,300 participant 5K in 1992 and is now the largest charitable footrace in the State of Maryland. After the first Race, the Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® was founded in 1993. Proceeds support programs that increase local access to quality breast health care and groundbreaking national research. We host two large fundraisers, the Komen Maryland Ocean City Race for the Cure in Ocean City, MD annually in April and the Komen Maryland Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley, MD held this year on October 23.
