Some say running and yoga go together like peanut butter and jelly. If you have never experienced the many benefits of yoga and what it can do to make you a better runner and person, come and try!
Learn how yoga helps with strength, flexibility, balance, opening up joints and is a huge stress reliever. It will improve your body and your mind. If you want to push yourself to your next PR or complement your casual running, yoga is where it's at.
Come dressed in comfortable loose fitting clothing and bring a water bottle, mat or towel and an open mind.
I'll Be There!
This event is FREE and you may just show up, but registering here reserves your spot on the mat and ensures you receive any updates about the event via email.
Meet Your Instructors
Bel Air: Candice Hennessey, YogaCentric
After years of sports, running and high impact exercise, Candice added yoga to her life just 5 years ago! Quickly realizing that she needed to repair her body and increase her flexibility, Candice began exploring the idea of adding heat to her practice. After attending her first class, Candice was immediately in love with hot yoga! Candice’s conceptual belief that “yoga is for everyone” , is the driving force and inspiration for the work & details that go into her local Bel Air studio & the services that are provided to the community.
Timonium: Paul Shapiro, Yoga on York
Paul is an avid runner, cyclist, and swimmer who believes that a yoga lifestyle can enhance all aspects of our professional and personal lives. He has been a faculty member in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy since 1999. Paul received his 200 hour teacher training certificate at Yoga On York in 2013. He teaches Stiff Guys yoga and other classes when needed.
