A call to runners, walkers and financial sponsors for the 2017 Maryland Fallen Workers’ Memorial 5K Run/1M Walk to benefit the Kids’ Chance of Maryland scholarship fund.
ENTRY FEES
Runner or walker registration fee is $35.
All registrants receive event t-shirt.
There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE
7:30 a.m. Onsite registration and Packet Pick-up begins
8:30 a.m. 5K Run followed by the 1M Fun Walk
9:30 a.m. Memorial ceremony, race winners announced and closing
AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K.
BENEFICIARY
Kids’ Chance provides financial scholarships for children of catastrophically or fatally injured workers to attend college or technical school. Tragically, on average, about 60 workers in Maryland lose their lives every year due to workplace accidents. Please join us on Sunday morning, April 9th to honor their memories and to raise funds for the Kids’ Chance of Maryland scholarship fund. Following the race there will be a memorial reading of the names of the deceased Maryland workers from 2016.
