Spring Yoga for Runners

Treat yourself to a spring yoga class in Bel Air or Timonium! Yoga is a great way to cross-train and fine tune the muscles you don't use as often to compliment your running. It can also increase your flexibility, build your strength and help you relax. Join us for a one hour class geared towards runners of all levels. Your body will thank you!

Please come dressed in comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle and a yoga mat or towel.

Stick around after yoga in Bel Air to shop for a great cause! Ten percent of all sales in Bel Air on Saturday, May 6th will be donated to Yoga Centric's team for the Free to Breathe Team Yoga Challenge in Baltimore. We love being able to partner with one of our favorite local yoga studios to support a great cause and say thank you for teaching our Yoga for Runners classes in Bel Air.

Meet Your Instructors

Bel Air - Amanda Wagner

Amanda has competed in obstacle course racing and Spartan Races since 2011. She placed podium in 2015 at Ohio Spartan Beast and earned an invitation to Spartan Race World Championships to compete in elite. She continues to add distance to her running and competed in her first Ultra Marathon in 2016, placing top 10 women at one of the most brutal 50Ks - Catoctin Mountain, Frederick MD.  Amanda is a Certified Les Mills GRIT instructor. - 30 min high intensity Interval training (HIIT) She decided she needed to find a balance to all the intensity of her workouts and running and found that yoga improved her running. Even though I am not certified just yet, I lead quick flows at work and with my clients in their small businesses in Harford County to the best of my ability.

 

Timonium - Stephanie Kafonek

Stephanie Kafonek owns and operates SDK Pilates, a studio specializing in equipment based Pilates and therapeutic yoga. She is a Fully Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor and has completed 500 hour teacher training in therapeutic yoga. She specializes in athletic conditioning and restorative care. As a retired medical professional, she knows her way around overuse injuries and orthopedic limitations.  She trains men and women of all ages and alllevels of physical conditioning from week end warriors to those struggling with health issues.
