Timonium Birthday Celebration Injury Clinic

Starting to train for a race and want to learn how to stay injury free? Already dealing with a nagging injury? Spend the morning with us on June 11th from 8:30 - 11:30am to learn how to treat your injury as effectively as possible and run pain-free!

About Jordan Altekruse, PT, DPT

7 years experience in the physical therapy field specializing in manual therapy, sports medicine and orthopedics. Jordan has extensive experience in treating the endurance athlete (marathoners, triathletes) and helping them to stay injury free during their race season.  Also, He is an avid runner, 6 marathons completed to date and when he is not at the clinic you can find him running around the Towson, Lutherville-Timonium area.

About Sam Runfola, MPT, OCS

Residency trained in manual therapy through the Manual Therapy Institute. Sam specializes in manual therapy interventions, sports medicine, and orthopedics.  He is the Director of Sports Medicine for Maryland, DC and Virginia and works with injured athletes as well as performance based services.  We utilize video and and wearable sensors to provide objective data that we use in rehabilitating an injury or driving performance to the next level.

About Dr. Alex Steiner

Dr. Alex Steiner is the clinic director for the Lifebridge Health Physical Therapy Clinic located at the JCC in Owings Mills.  Dr. Steiner is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Baltimore, where he obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Dr. Steiner has a passion for orthopedics and a very strong background in sports medicine, having treated athletes and performers at every level of the spectrum, from professional dancers to current and former NFL players, and NCAA soccer players.  He is a certified provider of the Dynamic Movement Assessment (DMA), a highly researched and specific biomechanical video analysis used in injury detection and prevention, and also performs specialized running assessments and evaluations.  He enjoys soccer, backpacking with his wife and son, and their crazy dog.
