Join Charm City Run Bel Air for a one-hour Yoga for Runners class that will focus on poses to strengthen and stretch the muscles we use most for running.
Led by Tyler Mauler who was professionally trained by a YogaFit instructor in 2015. She has been teaching yoga since then and has worked with everyone from preschoolers to collegiate athletes to senior citizens. Tyler was previously the yoga instructor at Stevenson University for staff, students & athletes from 2017-2021.

Run to Barre
Get ready to feel the burn!
We'll meet outside Charm City Run Timonium at 9:30 AM on Sunday, October 30 and run to the closeby Barrevolution (about 1 mile). Once we arrive we'll take a 45 minute outdoor barre class led by CCR Runner and Barrevolution Instructor Julia Hooper. After class, we'll run or walk back to the store as a cool down and enjoy optional post-workout packaged treats outside the shop. We'll have shopping specials just for you in-store!
*Please bring a mat and we will take care of transporting it to Barrevolution for you.

Self Defense Workshop at Charm City Run Bel Air
Join Charm City Run Bel Air on Sunday, October 30 for a Self Defense Workshop led by Courtney Feldheim. Learn the basics of how to defend yourself!
This workshop includes tips on how to stay safe and build safe habits. Open to all with tips especially for runners, women and parents.
Additionally, we will focus on strikes and release moves that could be used against an attacker in various different situations. The workshop will help participants create a mindset for safety and for how to get out of a dangerous encounter. Geared towards runners, this workshop will lay the groundwork for your self defense education.
A former 6th grade math teacher, Court found boxing in 2009 and has been boxing ever since. She has been competing as an amateur boxer since 2012 and fought Golden Gloves in 2013. Boxing quickly became her passion and she quit teaching to become a full-time trainer, coach, fitness nutrition coach and self defense instructor. After taking a break from competitive fighting to have her son, Court has been back in the ring once since, and has plans for another return in the near future. Court hopes to get back in the ring in 2021. She currently works as a personal trainer (both virtual and in-person), self defense instructor and boxing coach. She teaches self defense workshops online and in-person (and sometimes both!) at local schools, businesses, groups, stores and offices.

Boot Camp with FX & BC Brewery
Strength and conditioning is important to becoming a stronger runner. Meet us at 6PM on Wednesday, October 5 at BC Brewery in Hunt Valley where we’ll run to FX Studios for a Boot Camp led by their strength trainers. Then we'll run back to BC Brewery for a cheers to May and our love of running!

Core for Runners
Meet at 6PM at To the Core PT (back of the building, 200 E. Joppa Rd, before heading to the studio located on the lower level suite 102) for a short run and then join Rebecca Jankowiak for a 45 min core strengthening class specifically designed for runners. This class with address mobility deficits that tend to plague runners as well as addressing the stability needed through the hip and trunk.
To the Core, PT specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy and in addition to one on one sessions, also offers yoga, pregnancy, and strength classes in our new studio
